1. Services
Snap Translate AI provides features such as taking or selecting images, recognizing text in images, translating text into a target language, displaying translated text on images, reading text aloud, and saving capture history and favorites.
Text recognition, language identification, translation models, and speech may depend on device capabilities, third-party capabilities, or network conditions. Performance may vary by device, system version, language pack, and network status.
We continue to improve the app, but we do not guarantee that recognition, translation, or speech results will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for a specific purpose.
2. User Responsibilities
You must ensure that any content you capture, upload, recognize, or translate is lawful and does not infringe intellectual property, portrait rights, privacy rights, trade secrets, or other legitimate rights.
You may not use the app for illegal activities, including distributing unlawful information, infringing others' rights, interfering with normal app operation, reverse engineering, cracking, or malicious use.
You are responsible for judging the accuracy of recognition and translation results. For medical, legal, financial, government, contract, exam, immigration, or other important scenarios, please manually review the results.
3. History and Favorites
The app may generate local capture records, recognized text, translated text, favorite status, and favorite folder information based on your actions. Deleting a favorite folder may remove records in that folder from favorites. Please confirm carefully before deletion.
If you uninstall the app, clear app data, or change devices, local records may not be recoverable.
4. Third-Party Capabilities and Network Services
The app may call device camera, gallery, Text-to-Speech, text recognition, language identification, and translation model capabilities. If a local speech pack is unavailable, you may choose to open an online speech page provided by a third party. Its rules and data practices are governed by the third party.
Translation models may require network access the first time they are used or manually downloaded. We are not responsible beyond the scope required by law for failures or delays caused by networks, third-party services, or system restrictions.
5. Intellectual Property
The app interface, code, icons, interactions, copy, and related materials are owned by the app rights holder unless they belong to third parties or user-provided content. Images and text you process through the app remain owned by their original rights holders.
6. Disclaimer
The app is provided as is. We work to improve stability and accuracy, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service or that the app will meet all expectations. You are responsible for decisions, transactions, communications, or consequences arising from your use of recognition, translation, or speech results.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as features, laws, or operational needs change. Updated terms will be shown in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
